Silvervine
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This huge flower grows up to 7.4 feet (2.3 meters) tall. Its gray stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 4 and are thin and straight, and split into dozens of branching stems at the base, and the giant, moss green leaves are asymmetrical with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
4 to 10 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 54 cm (21.3 inches) wide, with petals that are azure at the sides and silver at the center. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 6 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are hardy.
It has the faintest scent that smells like musk, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to bees.
