Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized flower grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is thick and splits into 8 branching stems halfway up, and the miniature, yellow leaves are thick with wavy edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Many medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 19 cm (7.5 inches) wide, with solid hazel petals and an azure central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 6 widely spaced, narrow petals. They fall easily.
It has a delicate scent that smells like apple, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
