Slategrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized, gray grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are sturdy and flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, slate tuft.
During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
