Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters) and growing as high as 64 feet (19.5 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.
It takes 16 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are soft and flexible.
The circular, smooth leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are azure and magenta, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the vine produces many small beige flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny seed pods.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
