Amber Spine Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The very thin stem is brown, and is covered in sharp spines.
It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid dull orange petals decorated with amber dots and a hazel central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 46 curved petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like perfume.
The cactus's skin is thick, the beige flesh is rough, and the lime sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
