Waterstem Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thick clumps that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, brown flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
