Emerald Flex Moss

This green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On rotten logs, In heathlands, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly flexible; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
