Bluebell Bush

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of long and flexible, straight stems covered in hard, ridged, dark green bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of large, very thick, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are generally blue, resilient and soft.

In late summer it produces several medium-sized, olive flowers with long, narrow petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like meat.
