Pink Dot Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 55 feet (16.8 meters) tall. The wide stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible white spines. The stocky leaves are solid pink with yellow dots. Small amounts of them grow on round, gray-green branches that are short stubs. The leaves are light, but take little effort to detach.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are sky blue in the center, crimson in the middle and green at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is largely flat with 28 raised round-tipped petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like ashes.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the beige flesh is slimy, and the green sap is thin.

It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
