Eternal Pine

This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives seemingly forever, with many known specimen being tens of thousands of years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, straight trunk covered in thin, rough, brown-green bark, and inside, the flexible wood is dark brown.

The small handful of branches are short and thick, with dozens of twigs covered with large amounts of huge, burgundy needles. The needles themselves are delicate.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, faded blue berries.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
