Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In bogs, In rainy mountain ranges, and In marshes.
It is giant, growing up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly sturdy; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
