Vinegrove

This large tree grows up to 85 meters (278.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 453 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, wavy trunk covered in delicate, ridged, light brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale brown.

The sparse patches of branches are short and slender and are covered with small bunches of rough, giant, thick leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are bold purple and copper.

In late summer it forms large, deep red, shelled seeds.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
