Climbing Redstem

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 110 feet (33.5 meters) and growing as high as 15 feet (4.6 meters).

It takes 4 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 9 inches (23 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The thin, smooth leaves reach up to 2.2 feet (66 cm) in length. They are lilac and caramel, and have irregular edges.
