Bronzevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 60 feet (18.3 meters).

It takes 11 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The 6 pointed, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are yellow with bronze tips, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of large grey flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of very large berries.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
