Silverbell

This big caudiciform grows up to 73 feet (22.3 meters) tall. The very thick stem is green, and is covered in sharp spines. It has a wonky, stumpy, silver trunk atop a stocky clump of smooth, exposed roots. The branches are bulbous and gray-green and are short, rigid and upright.

The smooth-edged, asymmetrical leaves are found in green, cream and violet varieties. They are light, but take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are yellow at the sides and azure at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 16 tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like something putrid.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the cyan flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
