Magenta Glowfern
Flower type: Perennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is thin, and the small, yellow-green leaves are thin with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Each stem splits 4 to 10 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with solid magenta petals decorated with beige dots and a magenta central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 curved petals. They are sturdy.
It has the faintest scent that smells like glue, and it has lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
