Blueleaf Tree

This big tree grows up to 65 meters (213.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 93 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, angular trunk covered in paper-thin, waxy, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is burgundy-brown.

The abundance of branches are long and thick and are covered with thick bunches of smooth, huge, very thin leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue and peach.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of giant, black blossoms with pleated petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a weak scent that smells like cheap aftershave.

In late summer it forms tiny, violet berries.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
