Crimson Grass

This big, red grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, turquoise puff.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
