Cyanpetal

This enormous flower grows up to 16.1 feet (4.9 meters) tall. Its silver stem is wispy, and the miniature, burgundy leaves are long, narrow with wavy edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 57 cm (22.4 inches) wide, with petals that are cyan in the center, aquamarine in the middle and slate at the edges. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They fall easily.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like something putrid, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
