Bloodvine

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 359 feet (109.4 meters).

It takes 2 years for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The 5 pointed, rough leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are either blue, or blood red with lilac edges, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of large cream flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small seed pods.
