Gray-green Moss

Moss type: Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainy mountain ranges, In heathlands, and In damp forests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.


It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
The sap causes severe rashes
