Aquamarine Moss

This aquamarine moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In heathlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very light; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
