Emerald

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is overwhelmingly sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
