Magenta vine

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters) and growing as high as 31 feet (9.4 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 3 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The sickle shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in cream and cyan varieties, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of average magenta flowers.
