Orangeleaf Tree

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 190 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, twisting trunk covered in smooth, gray bark, and inside, the very dense wood is pale yellow.

The branches trail down across the ground and are covered with large amounts of smooth, small, very thin leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either orange, or olive with brown patches.

In late summer it forms large, pink berries.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
