Yellowneedle Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 664 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, straight trunk covered in fine, rough, yellow bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with very large amounts of waxy, giant, needle-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally grey.

In late summer it forms tiny, slate, shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
