Ambervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 880 feet (268.2 meters).

It takes 3 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The very thin, waxy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in bronze, violet and copper varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of large amber flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a few small berries.
