Bluefire

This modest-sized flower grows up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. Its gray-green stems grow in bunches of 6 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the giant, red leaves are cylindrical with irregular edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

5 to 10 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 24 cm (9.4 inches) wide, with petals that are beige at the sides and blue at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like cinnamon, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
