Yellow Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big, yellow grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The pleated stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, green puff.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
