Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 11 feet (3.4 meters)0.

It takes 5 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.

The very narrow and elongated, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are purple at the bottom and blood red with lime zig-zags at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of small peach flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small fruits.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and can be used to make numerous baked goods.
