Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In marshes.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is extremely flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
