Yellowvine

This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 2 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and gnarled.

The wide, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are solid lime or lilac, with brown edges, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of tiny violet flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of large seed pods.
