It has dozens of very thick, straight stems covered in very thick, rough, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is brown.
The branches are short stubs with dozens of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of huge, circular, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are turquoise on the edges and peach at the center, durable and covered in fine hairs.
In late summer it produces bunches of medium-sized, caramel flowers with 7 triangular shaped petals. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like rotten meat.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
