Twistvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 96 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many very thick, straight stems covered in delicate, waxy, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of giant, very thin, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are amber at the bottom and slate with light blue splotches at the top, flexible and clammy.

In late spring it produces handfuls of small, light blue flowers with sickle shaped petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like fresh linen.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
