Cyanleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The thin stem is pink-red, and is covered in sharp spines. The knobbly leaves are generally cyan. Small bunches of them grow on bulbous, gray-green branches that trail down towards the ground. The leaves are hardy, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with pink petals that gradient shift to sky blue on the outer edge. The central disk is peach grow at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like bonfire smoke.

The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the caramel flesh is rubbery, and the copper sap is thin.


It is suitable for making paper
Ivy often grows along the trunk.
