Hazelleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is yellow, and is covered in large amounts of flexible hazel spines. The stocky leaves are gray with hazel tips. Small amounts of them grow on round, burgundy branches that are short stubs. The leaves are resistant, and take little effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with blue petals on the lower layer and brown petals decorated with beige dots on the inner layer. The central disk is caramel, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 53 widely spaced narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like baby powder.

The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the turquoise flesh is slimy, and the blue sap is thin.

It has impressive regenerative properties.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
