Aquaflora

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This short fruit tree grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 31 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, cracked, gray bark, and inside, the very dense wood is black.

The numerous branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with handfuls of miniature, sickle shaped leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are generally cyan.

In early spring, it produces a handful of small, red blossoms with 2 teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like roses.

In early summer it produces small, 9 pointed fruit. The sticky beige skin is tough and inedible, and the crunchy orange flesh is sweet and juicy. The cream seeds are large and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
