Copper creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 27 feet (8.2 meters) and growing as high as 13 feet (4.0 meters).

It takes 4 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The 8 pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 11 inches (28 cm) in length. They are either peach, or purple with silver streaks, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of average white flowers.
