Aquamarine Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This large leaf succulent grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. The very thick stem is brown, and is covered in hundreds of flexible caramel spines. The irregular-edged, very thick leaves are black at the bottom and aquamarine with green patches at the top. Large amounts of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 3, then 6, then 9, and so on. The leaves are flimsy, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid green petals decorated with deep red lines and a azure central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 33 curved petals. It has a strong scent that smells like a woman.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the purple flesh is rough, and the hazel sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
It commonly grows in large patches.
