Sky Blue Moss

This gray or sky blue moss is commonly found growing in small clumps On trees, and In heathlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly flimsy.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
