Turquoisevine
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized flower grows up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) tall. Its yellow-green stem is very thin, and the giant, green leaves are black on the underside and are spear shaped with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are generally turquoise; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of handfuls of widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They fall easily.
It has a weak scent that smells like perfume, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is excellent at collecting and storing carbon dioxide
The sap causes severe rashes
The pollen is overwhelmingly toxic to people but not to certain animals.
