Silvergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, light grey puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
