Copperwood Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In damp forests, and In moorlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
