Crimson Moss

Moss type: Moss

This crimson moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, and In moorlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely frail; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
