Peachy Heartflower

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) tall. Its green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the large, green leaves are finger-like with smooth edges. 6 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Hundreds of small flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are generally peach; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 18 widely spaced, narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like vomit, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
