Pink-Red Caudiciform

This large caudiciform grows up to 88 feet (26.8 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is pink-red, and is covered in large amounts of flexible olive spines. The thick, lime trunk can grow to as much as 88 feet (26.8 meters) in diameter. Its emerald branches are short, rigid and upright.

The smooth-edged, spear shaped leaves are a shade of lime green that gradient shifts to light green at the top. They are rigid, but take some effort to detach.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with red petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of raised round-tipped petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like faeces.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the cream flesh is slimy, and the light brown sap is thin.
