Golden Glow

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. Its pink-red stem is wispy, and the giant, gray and olive leaves are asymmetrical with ripped edges. 21 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

3 to 8 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 43 cm (16.9 inches) wide, with solid gold petals decorated with brown dots and a copper central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They detach easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like pepper, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
