Bloodgrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small, blood red or lime grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, silver puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is extremely resistant to fire damage.
The sap is edible and very bitter.
