Magentavine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 131 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a slender, slanted trunk covered in paper-thin, cracked, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is dark brown.
The small clumps of branches are very short and thin and are covered with large amounts of smooth, tiny, circular leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are solid magenta or grey, with pink splotches.
In late summer it forms large, azure aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
The sap causes severe rashes
