Bluebell

This colossal caudiciform grows up to 30 feet (9.1 meters) tall. The wispy stem is green, and is covered in handfuls of rigid washed-out blue spines. The straight, bronze trunk can grow to as much as 30 feet (9.1 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its copper branches are very short and thick and start growing at the top the stem.

The large amounts of wavy-edged, sickle shaped leaves are bronze on the edges and blue at the center. They are frail, but take little effort to detach.

It is very slow growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are indigo on the edges and olive at the center grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 58 widely spaced narrow petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like sugar.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the ashy red flesh is waxy, and the blue sap is thin.
